Dr. Josephine Chan

Josephine was appointed to the Board of Education in February, 2022 to fill the vacancy on the board left by Councilman Joshua Mintz. Since her appointment, Josephine has demonstrated thoughtfulness and care for students. She asks good questions and always has the students' best interests at heart.

Josephine is the Director for the Clinical Trials Unit at UH Seidman Cancer Center. This position allows her to combine her love for science while using her leadership and administrative skills for the advancement of treatment and helping to improve the lives of patients.
